What is Branding?
Branding is the process of creating an image. It can be for a product, service, company or even for you, for example Elton John. Amongst other things, brands are made up of Symbols Wordmarks. A Symbol is an abstract sign to represent a brand - eg Logo. A Wordmark is the stylised treatment of the brand name and serves the same functional purpose as a Symbol - eg MARKET YOUR WEB
Why do you need it?
You have an image, or one that you want to create. It's in your Mission Statement and your Positioning Statements. You need to stand out from your crowd of competitors, and you can't rely on just saying you're the cheapest.
